Kid’s Haircut

For kids 12 and under, I work at the child’s pace and use either clippers or shears to achieve the desired look. My goal is to create a fun, comfortable, and stress-free experience for both children and parents by prioritizing patience and flexibility.

Eyebrow Tint

A semi-permanent brow tint application typically lasts for 3-6 weeks. A safe dye is applied to your brow hairs, enhancing their darkness, fullness, and definition. This results in a more polished appearance without the daily need for makeup.

Highlight

Highlights are lighter strands of hair created by applying lightener in foils to add brightness, dimension, and texture for a multi-tonal, sun-kissed look, and can make fine hair appear fuller and be used for blending grays.

Lowlight

By foiling darker strands of color throughout your hair, the opposite of highlights, you can create depth, dimension, and contrast. This technique makes your hair look thicker and richer, blend grown-out highlights or add warmth to your hair for different seasons!

Highlight/Lowlight

A hair coloring service that involves lightening and darkening strands of hair alternating to create depth, dimension, and contrast, resulting in a more natural and less flat appearance. This technique is often used to break up solid color or add richness.

Color

Color is applied to the hair penetrating the hair cuticle and entering the hair cortex. It bonds with the hair, altering its overall color or covering grays often resulting in a more monochromatic appearance.

Toner

Toners are frequently used after bleaching to subtly adjust the hair’s color to achieve the desired shade, whether it’s cooler, warmer, or a different hue altogether and neutralize unwanted brassy or yellow tones. It gives the illusion of an all over color without a line of harsh demarcation, used as gray blending, condition or add shine back into your hair!

Balayage

A French coloring technique involves applying lightener by hand that processes in open air instead of using traditional foiling or cap highlighting. This method creates a more natural, sun-kissed highlight effect or you can create higher contrast in brightness by using a stronger developer.

Precision Blonding

A two-step professional hair lightening process involves lightening the natural color to remove it, followed by using a toner to neutralize unwanted tones and deposit the desired shade for a uniform and vibrant result. This technique creates a dramatic transformation that’s not achievable with just highlights and requires more precision to avoid damage.

Additional Blonding

Both services can stand alone or as an addition to another service and typically use foils to isolate and prevent the bleach from transferring. A moneypiece typically frames the hairline and creates a brighter halo effect when your hair is pulled back. A tip-out, on the other hand, involves applying lightener to the mid-lengths and ends of the hair. This technique adds brightness, and blends highlights seamlessly from root to tip. It enhances the overall brightness of the hair and makes it feel lighter, even if the roots aren’t heavily lightened.

Vivid Color

This service is done by applying bright and unnatural shades to the hair using techniques like ombré and balayage to achieve this look. These colors, also known as fantasy or creative colors, are known for their intensity and often pre-lightening of the hair is necessary for optimal results. To remove the color, they have direct dye removers available to remove the pigment in the safest way without applying additional bleach.

Perm

A perm short for "permanent wave" is a chemical hair treatment that creates long-lasting curls or waves in straight hair by breaking and reforming the hair's protein bonds into a new shape, typically using rods and solutions and usually lasts 3-6 months. Depending on your rods size you can either have tighter and curler or bouncier and looser results, creating more versatility than before.

Keratin Treatment

A salon treatment that infuses keratin into your hair smoothing frizz and adding shine. It’s perfect for those looking to reduce blow-dry time, improve manageability, smooth or pull a curl pattern three times looser.

Dutch or French Braids

It can be worn in one or in multiple plaits as a protective style. French braids cross strands over the middle and lies flat creating a classic look, while Dutch braids cross strands under the middle and sits raised on top of the hair displaying a trendy inverted effect.

Shampoo Only

$12.50 deposit required for new clients

A professional hair cleansing treatment that removes buildup and promotes scalp health using specialized shampoos and conditioners. It involves wetting hair, applying shampoo twice, emulsifying it throughout, rinsing thoroughly, applying conditioner, rinsing again, and towel-drying.

Blow-Dry Style

A professional technique using a hairdryer, brushes, and products to create smooth, voluminous, curly, or sleek hair offering polished looks like sleek straight or bouncy hair. It includes washing, applying heat protectant, sectioning hair, and using tools like round or paddle brushes for shaping, resulting in enhanced volume, smoothness, and or style longevity.

Thermal Style

A thermal style uses heated tools like flat irons or curling irons to temporarily change hair's shape, creating sleek straight looks, waves, or curls by altering hair's protein bonds and cuticle. The key to preventing damage is using heat protectants and managing temperature settings for different hair types.

Specialty Style

It’s an elevated hairstyle, often more intricate or glamorous, designed for significant events like weddings, proms, or galas. Styled to ensure durability for hours of wear, it features elements like smooth or textured, twists, braids, fishtails, vintage waves, tape-ins, clip-ins, or statement accessories for a polished finish.

Nail

These services includes various steps such as trimming, debris removal, soaking, cuticle maintenance, and nail shaping. It’s often accompanied by a relaxing massage and the application of regular or gel nail polish. The only difference between a pedicure and manicure is a pedicure includes a scrub and callus removal.
